As a Certified Business Analyst and graduate of Saint Mary's University School of Executive and Professional Development, I am an adept Business Analyst with a demonstrated skill in Operations Management, Statistical Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, and Team Building. With over two decades of experience in Marine Atlantic Inc, a Federal Crown Corp Ferry Service operating between the Island of Newfoundland and the Province of Nova Scotia, and Nova Scotia Power Inc, I have honed my expertise in Supply Chain Metrics Analysis and Operations Analysis. At Nova Scotia Power Inc, a vertically integrated electric utility in Nova Scotia, Canada, I serve as a Supply Chain Metrics Analyst for the Supply Chain Metrics Team. In this role, I provide detailed analysis, advise, interpretation, and resource support by compiling and reviewing complex, multi-source operations, spend, contract, market information, trends, and other related data. I am skilled in Oracle EBS12, Oracle BI, PeopleSoft9.2, and am an Advanced Excel and Tableau User. During my tenure at Marine Atlantic Inc, I held several roles, including Operations Analyst and Assistant Buyer. As Operations Analyst, I was responsible for maintaining all traffic statistics as they pertain to our fleet of four vessels and assisted in the preparation of operational department budgets. As Assistant Buyer, I successfully contributed to the procurement activities of the company through RFQ, RFI, RFP as well as initial sourcing and negotiation phases. Throughout my career, I have developed various reporting tools and systems to gather and track data for use by Supply Chain, Finance, and Executive teams. I have also played a key role in managing the performance review process and identifying opportunities to streamline reporting processes. My accomplishments include developing a detailed savings tracking tool that incorporates both NS Power Procurement and NB Power Joint Procurement data and presenting it monthly to NSPI's COO and CFO, as well as developing a comprehensive reporting system for traffic control that is distributed organization-wide and is used as measurable for all Transport Canada and Executive Board discussion.
