About Gerycel Castro

Creative, detail oriented, dynamic, out-the-box thinker and team-player with 18+ years of experience in visual, experience and graphic design, skilled in branding, design systems, marketing and design layout with a good sense of colour and typography with a Master in Arts. While in Toronto, I have studied and worked on accessibility practices and inclusivity. As a designer my mission is to understand and expertly transform thoughts, actions and ideas into something visual, unique and articulated. Knowing what the client/user needs is a priority nowadays. My vision is to persevere in accomplishing professional goals while learning and gaining knowledge every day, enriching both my professional and personal life, and moreover, to keep alive one of my passions in life: DESIGN. Also, to sustain my dedication and enthusiasm in each project, always giving more than 100% of myself; all without forgetting the values of life and humility and kindness as a human being. The professionalism evident in every project shows my dedication and efficiency. The visual language of design provides me with wholehearted optimism, integrity and persistence in achieving my goals.
