About Gez Johns

Can you be a specialist generalist? I think that’s possibly the best (or maybe worst) description of me – someone who is skilled enough to provide support across the full PR and marketing spectrum, and wise enough to know their limits in each specialism. At heart, I’m a story-teller, therefore to me the journey is just as important as the destination. This massively influences my approach to PR, and the importance of engaging customers, clients, stakeholders, staff, media and in fact anyone who you might ever interact with over time, not just when you need them to love you. I also think that in this world that’s become drenched in digital content, the focus of PR should be to add value, not just more noise. This probably explains why I’ve been so reticent in truly embracing the cult, I mean community of LinkedIn.
