I currently serve as a Lecturer at Lusail University, where I teach a diverse range of courses in both English and Arabic for BA students. My courses span Translation Studies, Business Communication, Leadership, and Critical Thinking Skills, equipping students with essential linguistic, analytical, and professional competencies. Beyond teaching, I actively contribute to curriculum development, course assessment, and student mentorship. I have also played a key role in coordinating academic committees and extracurricular activities, such as the Students Debate Club, fostering an engaging and intellectually stimulating learning environment. With over eight years of experience as a professional English-Arabic translator, I bring a deep understanding of language, communication, and cultural adaptation to both academia and industry. My expertise extends to audiovisual translation, where I have gained hands-on experience in voiceover, subtitling, and audio description. I hold a BA in English from the Islamic University of Gaza and an MA in Audiovisual Translation from the Translation and Interpreting Studies Department at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar. My master's studies further ignited my passion for translation technologies and multimedia localization, reinforcing my ability to bridge language barriers in both academic and professional settings.
