About Giada Longo

And now something about me: My name is Giada Longo. From when I was little, I have always considered the administration of drugs as a fascinating action. Something very little taken to treat big problems. I used to ask my mum every day if drugs were good as well as dangerous. I have always been a very curious person! I was very fascinated by this subject by the detection, assessment and prevention of side effects. Today I am working in Pharmacovigilance and I like this Sector very much! How do I see me in the future? I would like to have responsibilities because I have a strong personality and I like coaching and managing people. What will happen in the future? What will be will be. But In my opinion, maybe, there won't be any adverse events, and if they are still present we will track them down! Brief Summary of Relevant Experience: • Experience in pharmacovigilance as Drug Safety Officer (pre-marketing and post-marketing) and experience as Deputy of EU QPPV and Deputy of Local QPPV • Experience in activities of Pharmacovigilance and Quality System • Experience in computer system validation for safety database (PcVmanager, Oracle ARGUS) • Able to use the following systems: MedDRA, PcVmanager, eCTDmanager, EUDRAVIGILANCE,Galileo,CATsWEB, Oracle AERS and Oracle ARGUS • Review Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) website- Italian PV Network (RNF) • Experience in Audit/Inspection and CAPA • Experience in PSMF (Pharmacovigilance System Master File) activities •.
