About Gian Luca Giovanelli

Manager with extensive professional experience, entirely gained in contexts constantly characterized by change, resulting from radical changes in corporate structure, internationalization, generational transition, radical market and product evolution, renewal and adaptation of operational and technological processes. A constant element has been operating in highly internationalized contexts, involving all stakeholders, in all company areas, and in multicultural environments, with interactions with organizations and people in dozens of different nations, in various and articulated different geopolitical contexts. CEO in the last 10 years, with broad delegations and autonomy, of a well-known medium-sized Italian company producing machine tools, which became part of a Chinese multinational group, where I had the opportunity to implement, while maintaining continuity with the past and preserving its strong identity, a radical transformation of the company with the reorganization of markets, products, operational and production processes. The set of experiences, combined with my most marked professional attitude as an organizer and manager, have allowed me to acquire significant capabilities in defining well organized, integrated, shared company structures and processes, fully digitized, capable of supporting adequate operations together with the management needs of economic and financial planning and control. Another characteristic element of my career is that it has been entirely gained in companies producing capital goods with a wide range of high-tech elements, thus having the opportunity to acquire further significant technical skills. A common element in all the roles held during my career has always been operating in coherence with my personal, as well as managerial, attitudes, strongly oriented towards accepting challenges, determination, and perseverance in pursuing objectives, proactivity, proactiveness, and positivity in attitudes.
