About Giancarlo Simion

I am a Software Developer working for Doctrin AB, which is a startup based in Stockholm with the vision of enabling the digitization of the healthcare sector by offering a B2B solution. As a matter of fact, working in a constantly mutating startup environment enabled me to cover multiple roles, depending on the specific project needs. In Doctrin, I am primarily a Software Developer and a Data Scientist. Before moving to healthcare sector, I spent four years as a Software Engineer in CSG International, also based in Stockolm. During my experience in CSGI, I was developing a supporting platform providing LCR (Least Cost Routing) solutions for TELCO operators. I am passionate about my work and not afraid to face different challenges that might involve a lot of learning. I like to see my given skillset at a point just as a tool I can rely on for extending my professional (and human) background. Beyond crude numbers, I believe that the true key for a successful work relies in finding what is interesting about it. I strongly support the idea that in all the situations individuals matter, but only once they are cooperating, sharing the same values and pursuing common and well-defined objectives.
