About Gianfranco Traverso

I am a Software Engineer, holding a degree from Universidad de los Andes. As a self-taught individual, I have a strong interest in science and driven by my passion for implementing new technologies that enhance processes and create high-level value and impact. To achieve this, I use different technological tools, such as neural networks and software development frameworks, to create diverse solutions. During my internship as a Software Engineer at Megatime, a company specializing in monitoring and analyzing advertising, I spearheaded a project to develop software that automatically tags television ads using artificial intelligence services, such as AWS and GCP (Google Cloud Platform). In addition, I worked as a Data Engineer at Hospital Hernan Henriquez Aravena (Temuco), where I facilitated and speed-up the medical diagnosis process for pathologists to detect prostate cancer in images using Deep Learning algorithms. Furthermore, I have developed a Google Chrome extension called Mr. Meet. This application enhances Google Meet by adding new functionalities geared towards classes involving teachers and students. To accomplish this, I use JavaScript and integrated with the Google API for the use of Google Drive applications.
