About Gianluca Carotenuto
I graduated in New Technological Arts at Fine Arts Academy in 2018. During that period I often worked at some indie cinema sets, playing the role of camera operator, D.o.P, portrait photographer and video editor. After that I attended a Master Class in Computer Graphic at BigRock school and after that I was chosen for R&D production team in the same facility. My passion for photographic light and video editing lead me to improving my lighting and compositing skills. At BigRock I collaborated to realize two CGI short movies:"La Bottega degli Amici Immaginari" and "Hope" in which I was responsible for lighting and textures. In november 2019 I joined to Red Raion (CGI studio specialized in media based attraction) and Stormind Games team as Lighting Artist and digital compositor, working both with render engines and real time engines and in 2022 I joined to Rainbow CGI working on several projects for Disney and Netflix productions. In 2024 I came back to RedRaion for a “new” (a bit nostalgic) adventure!
