About Gianluca Colombo

I have been working in the IT industry since when, as soon as I entered university, I started working as a clerk in the IT department of a shopping center. IT has always been a hobby that I managed to turn into a job. I started working as a computer technician for a small company where I was able to collaborate directly with customers, managing the related infrastructures, from the firewall to the backups. Subsequently, I was lucky enough to be able to work for one of the largest surveillance institutes in Italy, where over the years I have learned to manage very large projects, especially related to company acquisitions and integrations in our infrastructure. In recent years I have been responsible for the infrastructure and help desk division, managing four people. I currently work at a young company in a row and I am a system technician. I manage new customers and their networks, both new and existing. I specialized in the field of security, and for years I have been using Fortinet as a protection system for companies. In fact, with its strong firewalls, it is possible to protect customers' infrastructures in a serious and effective manner. In my sector, it is normal to work under pressure, above all because it is possible to receive calls and help requests from different customers at the same time. I have developed a good ability to interact with colleagues and this allows the company to be able to have a solution to different problems in a very short time.
