11/02/2019 Start working as Junior calibration engineer at Positech s.r.l.( Alten Italy ) for Ferrari S.p.A. 23/10/2018 Master of Science in Automotive Engineering (110/110) 10/2017- 10/2018 Thesis work development: Intake and exhaust system design and optimisation, done in collaboration with the MMR-Hybrid formula SAE team at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. In the firsts months, the work was carried out as an individual activity so that I became familiar with CFD-1D simulations using GT-Power software to set up some different layouts of the intake system and an optimization procedure for the model parameters. 01/2018: the new MMR-Hybrid team began to be effective and so I decided to be an active part of the formula SAE team and not just an external provider, becoming a reference member of the power unit division. So from then to 07/2018 I set up and carried out the CDF-1D simulations required to obtain an optimised design of both the intake and exhaust systems complying the FSAE rules and so I develop the CAD models of the optimised systems according to vehicle requirements by constant exchange of information among the divisions (aerodynamic, vehicle dynamic, structure and electric ). 07/2018 we obtain the 2nd place in the FS-UK design event at Silverstone (class 2). After that I continue to stay in touch with the team for the industrialisation process of the systems while I was writing my thesis. Now I'm following up the next steps in the PU control and calibration activities, getting more familiar with Matlab/Simulink tools for modeling the engine dynamic systems and calibration activities (such as the core and the control engine models or the model-based calibration toolbox), also getting some basic concept about CAN-Bus.
