About Gianluca Maggio

I am an accomplished Software Engineering Leader with expertise in the entire development cycle, including design, code development, problem-solving, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality results. I have had a passion for Computer Science and in particular Software Engineering since my early school years and am continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve the application of computer science to benefit users. Since graduating with a degree in Computer Science in 1998, I have dedicated myself to software development, with a particular focus on the HR industry. Throughout my 25-year career, I have gained extensive experience in various software development evolutions, from the client-server model to classic web applications, single-page applications, and mobile apps, all while implementing full testing automation and CI/CD cycles. From 2016, I have led an innovative project to develop a platform for building web applications with the latest technology stacks, specifically in the Front-End Angular /.NET Core area. The platform has been in production since 2019 and has become an essential asset for the entire product line offered by the company. In 2020, I played an active role in the Agile transformation of my former company, Talentia Software, by leading the framework team through this delicate transition. I achieved the "Professional Scrum Master I" certification from scrum.org, demonstrating my commitment to the Agile methodology and my ability to lead teams through successful Agile transformations
