About Gianna Bruzzese

With a B.A. in History and minors in Art History and Education, I am passionate about creating equitable and engaging learning experiences for people of all ages. I bring an upbeat, approachable energy to every environment, which helps me connect with learners and visitors alike. My teaching style incorporates hands-on activities, multimedia tools, and inquiry-based learning to foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Currently, I work as a Museum Educator at the Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum in Springfield, where I lead school tours, facilitate interactive activities, and foster meaningful engagement with visitors of all backgrounds. During my time at UMass Amherst, I conducted in-depth research on Ancient Rome, comparative world history, and Renaissance and Baroque art. I also collaborated with a team of student curators to develop "A City in Flux: Reflecting on Venice", an exhibition opening September 13, 2025, at the Smith College Museum of Art.
