About Gibson Mwaita

I am a seasoned Program Manager, a CAPM, Consortium Manager, an educationist, a youth Programming and Evidence-based Behavioral Interventions specialist with over 11 years’ experience developing, managing and delivering Sexual and Reproductive Health, Education, Leadership, Governance, Resilience, Advocacy as well as Youth, Women and Special groups empowerment programs. I have successfully formulated, effectively implemented and managed multi-donor funded programs for national and international NGOs in East Africa, including those funded by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT); through SoTheyCan(STC), Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office(FCDO), Children Mission(CM), UNFPA, UNICEF, USAID, ERIKS, UNDP, Global Community Resilience and Engagement Fund(GCERF), The Walter Reed Project among others. I am strongly skilled in evidence-based programming, results-based management, large grant and consortium management, networking, partnership building, and program monitoring and evaluation, Public-private partnership, education technology, advocacy, policy review & development and child safeguarding. My goal is to formulate, implement, manage and evaluate programs aimed at contributing to the attainment of sustainable development goals and strategic growth of community and organizations.
