About Gideon Rogers

With over 15 years of experience in various aspects of production—ranging from researching and producing, writing and directing, to editing and acting—I bring a well-rounded skill set and a professional eye for videography and photography. I have extensive experience with Adobe Suite, particularly Premiere and Photoshop, and am proficient with all cameras, whether on-location or in-house. Beyond the moving image I am also a skilled graphic artist and social media manager, having served as the Digital Media Producer at Texas Public Radio (TPR). While at TPR the social media strategy I implemented was directly responsible for a growth in overall engagement (followers, comments, shares). While at TPR I served as the in-house and field photographer and videographer. Additionally, I have a strong background in education, having taught English as a Second Language for 8 years in South Korea and 3rd grade for 2 years in Texas. My unique combination of creative and educational expertise enables me to adapt quickly and excel in diverse environments.
