About Giffry Eldridge

With twenty years of military service, I have gained knowledge and skills that would make me diverse. I've been assigned in leadership positions for the most part of my military career. I have technical expertise primarily in Petroleum handling as well as handling and transporting HAZMAT. I am capable of operating heavy wheeled vehicles whether to include single unit, 5th wheel-truck/semi trailer or pintle hook-truck trailer combination. As a HAZMAT certifier, I have inspected general cargoes or vehicles containing or transporting hazardous goods to determine whether or not they are deemed safe to be shipped or transported. With my technical expertise, I have applied said knowledge in tactical environments such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait. One such accomplishment was that I was selected to be a project manager for constructing a Fuel System Supply Point (FSSP) in a small base camp in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The FSSP is a temporary or semi-permanent bulk fuel storage normally placed in combat environments. It can normally store at a minimum of gallons of fuel.
