Background
About Gigi Garner
I am currently working as a voice-over artist and poet. I am passionate about people and the planet. I volunteer as a tour guide at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center (HANC), teaching children and parents about the resilient nature of our ecosystem. In September of 2009, I will begin the graduate program (Masters/Doctorate) at Portland State University in Educational Leadership and Policy with an emphasis on Ecology, Culture and Learning. I'm excited about PSU's program as it merges my many interests: history, sustainability, finding solutions, conservation, healthy living choices, diversity of cultures, my love of learning languages, medieval technologies with modern adaptations, energy choices, and teaching/inspiring a new generation to create more choices in sustainability.
