About Gilbert Daniel

I am a final-year student in the Chemistry Study Program at Universitas Negeri Medan (Unimed). Throughout my academic journey, I have actively participated in various organizations, both within the campus and externally. These experiences have equipped me with leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and program management expertise. In the academic field, I have participated in several competitions and have a primary focus on expertise in organic chemistry, particularly in the study of natural product chemistry. I have been deeply involved in research on the isolation, characterization, and bioactivity potential of natural compounds derived from biological sources. With this background, I have a strong interest in advancing chemical sciences that contribute to the fields of pharmaceuticals, food, and the environment. In the future, I plan to further explore Quality Control (QC) and Research and Development (R&D). In Quality Control, I aim to gain a deeper understanding of analytical methods and standard testing procedures within industries to ensure product quality that meets regulatory standards. Meanwhile, in Research and Development, I aspire to contribute to product innovation, material formulation, and the exploration of novel compounds with added value for various industries, such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food. With a combination of expertise in natural product organic chemistry and a strong foundation in QC and R&D, I hope to develop relevant skills applicable to both industry and research. My goal is to contribute to the development of innovative and high-quality products that have a positive impact on society.
