I’m Gilbert Groot, founder and CEO of JLM Lubricants – Liquid Tools. Since launching JLM in 2010, my mission has been clear: give independent workshops and automotive professionals high-quality, workshop-tested liquid tools that solve real problems—quickly and effectively. At JLM, we develop advanced additives, lubricants, car care and treatments tailored to the independent aftermarket. Whether it’s keeping DPFs clean, restoring engine performance, or improving combustion efficiency, every product we create is engineered to deliver results where it counts—on the shop floor. Sustainability is a big part of what drives us. We believe the right fuel additives can make a real difference—not just in engine performance, but in reducing exhaust gas emissions and improving fuel consumption. It's about helping garages extend the life of vehicles, meet stricter emissions standards, and offer greener solutions to their customers—without compromising on quality or reliability. Today, JLM products are used in over 40 countries, but our commitment remains local: support the independent workshop with smarter solutions that keep them ahead in a fast-changing industry.
