About Gilbert Nathaniel

Third-year IT student, future Data Analyst. My passion for Data brought me to the School of Computer Science at Binus University. Last semester I completed the Data Visualization program, which focuses on the framework and context for understanding the performance dashboards The most valuable lesson I have learned from Binus University has been the Database Systems where I learned how to apply database languages and SQL Programming languages Even though I knew I wanted to be a Data Scientist, I have enjoyed getting back to basics with data management and kinds of stuff. My class in Algorithms and Programming has provided me with great insights for a future career in IT World. These 3 years, I have Learnt the basics of DBMS, HTML, CSS, VsCode, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Davinci Resolve to get me started learning new skills that hopefully will help me with my future working place. I continue to build skills in UI/UX. Next year, I hope to complete a Data related internship that will provide real-life experience and important technological skills. Through my Journey as an IT student, I became one of the chairmen of the Student Organization Club which includes managing 6 regions of the organization where I learned about team management and project management which is quite challenging. My Communication Skills have sharpened since then and provide me with more confidence in having to communicate the needs of my organization. Critical Thinking is one of the aspects that I developed through my whole year becoming a chairman and it helps me to problem solve many kinds of challenges.
