About Gilbert Randolph

I am a writer, media content creator, and aspiring outdoors professional. My passion is creating art, conserving wild spaces, and sharing my adventures with other people. I currently work with the National Wild Turkey Federation and I have an M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Missouri Kansas City. My writing has appeared in New Letter's, Preserve Journal, KC Lifestyle, Hunt to Eat, the Missouri Independent and more. I also manage a quarterly, independent magazine called CONSUMPTiVE, which features seasonal outdoors lifestyle tips, art, and creative writing. My skills include: copy editing, social media management, sound production, video editing, event planning, and customer service. I am experienced with the full Adobe suite including Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I regularly host wild game dinners and personal events that bring people together through wild spaces. I also enjoy connecting local conservation groups to work together and volunteering for conservation projects in my city.
