About Giles Watson

I once failed art school for finding a real client on a subject’s brief and bringing the idea to life. Turns out, that’s a habit I never shook. Since then, I’ve mapped uncharted deserts, started an insurance company that paid out in Snickers, rejected some ales, and built an A.I. so talentless that ‘America’s Got Talent’ invited me on the show.(I politely declined) Now, as an ECD, I’m all about ideas that get people talking—blending contemporary design with crafted copy to create work that sticks. Over the past decade, I’ve helped brands like BMW, Microsoft, Adidas, NAB, Four’N Twenty, and Movember do things worth noticing, climbing to #8 in the D & AD rankings and #43 in The Drum World Creative Rankings along the way. In short: I like making stuff people love.
