About Gillian Cox

I’m passionate about working for a values led organisation and have been with Triodos Bank UK since the end of 2009. I've been Senior Tax Manager since May 2022 and am responsible for the UK tax function. Key responsibilities include - Ensuring the business is compliant with all Direct, Indirect and Operational Taxes - Fulfilling HMRC’s Code of Practice and Senior Accounting Officer requirements - Own the Tax Risk Management Framework, ensuring tax risk across the business is effectively managed and monitored, and that all tax planning and activities are in line with the Bank's tax principles and policy. Prior to this I spent 2.5 years setting up and managing the Regulatory Reporting team (also with some responsibilities covering business taxes), which was required following the Bank’s subsidiarisation in May 2019, leading to a significant increase in the volume and variety of reporting to the PRA. The first 10 years of my time at Triodos was spent managing the Finance Control team.
