About Gillian Kirk

I am an FCA qualified Non-Executive Director and PGC qualified Executive Coach. With over 20 years of experience as a Director of Transformation in both public and private service sectors, I am expert in guiding major business transformations and developing individuals to successfully navigate challenging transitions. As a Non-Executive Director I look to leverage my knowledge and experience to accelerate strategic decision making and the processes of successful change, including mergers, acquisitions, turnarounds and cultural transformations. At the strategic level, I guide senior teams to clarify shared understanding of the current state, set the organisational vision and agree the high-level objectives to establish a firm basis for effective business planning. During the planning and delivery phases, I advise on shaping and structuring transformation strategy, identifying key dependencies to minimise risk, embedding intelligent governance and preparing the workforce for change. As MD of Business in Change Ltd, my interim management business established in 2002, I specialise in the hands-on development and delivery of organisational transformation. I added Inspirational Coaching as a separate service underneath the Business in Change umbrella in 2014, supporting individuals or teams to increase self-awareness, develop exceptional leadership skills and to successfully navigate challenging transitions and fulfil personal and career ambitions.
