I am an accomplished VP and Retail Director and past executive board member equipped with an impeccable record in delivering outstanding performance in UK and ME markets. My experience has provided me with extensive skill and knowledge across many functions, having worked across Stores, Head Office Roles, Store Development, Project Management, various General Manager and Executive roles and latterly Asset Management during my 25 year career. An inspirational and motivational leader of people across various functions and levels in large department store groups with particular strengths in driving sizeable teams to deliver relentlessly on the KPI's and developing managers to reach their fullest potential with an exceed mentality approach. Results focused, I actively seek out stakeholders and solutions to help my business and have shown the ability to network and influence at board director level to support in achieving optimum results. I am an instinctive retailer who is extremely passionate about the luxury markets. I am very proud to have delivered as the GM a new start up project with the Harvey Nichols Business in Qatar. This is one of the largest successful international projects within the wider HN business. Charged with leading this franchise, I drove success with many luxury brands in the world of fashion, beauty, accessories and homewares. With the added advantage of developing a large Retail, Marketing, VM and Operations team, this role was all encompassing. 3.5 years spent in Qatar delivering repeated sales growth and building a business to become one of the most successful department stores in the country. 2020 returned to Scotland to uphold a senior exec role at St James Quarter Edinburgh. Charged with developing the Retail, F&B and Commercial Strategy and managing high performing teams in what is now the second largest retail led mixed - use asset in the UK. The goal was to set up all of retail, drive and analyse full asset performance, build collaborative partnerships with over 155 brands, lead on events and support all leasing and operational development. 3.5 yrs in this role, which I surpassed with all challenges and objectives set exceeded expectations.
