About Gillian Sheldon

I have a practical hands on approach to managing health and safety, injury management as well as corporate risk. My work experience has been in health care, industrial, local government, higher education, disability and office environments many of which have been self-insured to international standards. Areas I have gained experience in are safety, risk and injury management, emergency management and employee health and wellbeing services. My strengths are in identifying opportunities to make improvements, working with stakeholders, building strong relationships, to develop and implement strategies, policies and procedures that are customised to the needs, goals and strategic direction of the organisation. My ability to improve safety management systems has been developed over many years in varied environments both large and small. The work I deliver is of high quality and enables organisations to meet the standards expected of those striving for best practice or international certification.
