About Gilson Ribeiro

I have excellent experience pertaining to achieving goals under pressure and complicated circumstances. As an integral part of my role as Logistics supervisor, I am responsible to ensure the efficient teamwork of all the supply chain involved in my area. I found that establishing clear guidelines, good communication and motivation. My experience in South Africa as the liaison between VWSA, VWB & Syncreon, proved invaluable. I found that inter-cultural relations (various South African culture groups and Brazilians) can be very fragile. As part of my duties, I was responsible to build bridges and understanding between people with extremely different cultural backgrounds and opposite interests and finding common ground, whether it was extra-curricular or not, is always a good start. Given my extensive experience working with people from many different cultures and backgrounds, it serves to prove my ability to deal with anyone, no matter the financial background, be it the average Jo in the street or a CEO of an international firm, I have the necessary skill to do so with finesse. My career in the automotive industry strengthened me as to deal with demands in high-pressured situations. It is part of my daily routine to deal with complicated targets, obstacles and ever-changing legislation and yet have to meet the demands and deadlines provided.
