About Gina Devito

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Gina DeVito is a dynamic, no-nonsense, savvy attorney who tells it like it is. With an unmatched commitment to her work and her clients, she has an unbridled passion for going the extra mile. Her penchant for doing things the right way drove her to open her own practice in 1992. Principally devoted to labor and employment matters, Gina offers a wide variety of services to employees and employers. From Fortune 500 companies to the single parent she handles wage and hour disputes, reviewing and preparing contracts, drafting/negotiating severance agreements, sexual harassment training, preparing employee handbooks, retaliation, sexual harassment and wrongful termination claims. By working on both sides of the legal camp, she brings to her cases the insight of what to anticipate from the opposition and the know-how to creatively and effectively chart the course for the successful resolution of her clients’ causes. Founded on principles of creative problem-solving and fairness, her firm stands resolute to her dedication to client's needs. Her dedication is best summed up in a quote from a former client who said, She'd fight the Devil in a phone booth. Gina also teaches and mentors students of the University of San Francisco, School of Law in the entrepreneurial law clinic and is currently co-authoring her first book on the importance of gratitude in attaining a happy and more satisfying life. Gina is also a passionate advocate for special causes and hosts charity and fundraising events for multiple sclerosis and breast cancer awareness. An avid athlete, Gina enjoys competing in marathons and Toughmudder events, boxing and running. Yet, Gina’s greatest joy remains spending every possible free moment with her young daughter and teaching her the importance of living life to the fullest and working for the greater good. Gina was recently named 2013 Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women.
