About Gina Viars

I’ve been with WVU Medicine since the beginning of my nursing career in January 2022. I've gained a variety of experience working as a Behavioral Health RN. Currently I serve patients with a variety of mental health issues including addiction, schizophrenia, personality disorders, psychosis, bipolar disorder and more. Prior RN experience at WVU Medicine includes treating a variety of health conditions in a step down, med-surg, and ER environment. I have a plethora of non nursing experience that is beneficial to my career as a nurse including holding positions such Behavioral Health Specialist, Medical Billing Specialist, Retail Manager, Customer Service Representative and small business owner. The types of nursing I’m interested in include behavioral health, home health, wellness, holistic approaches, med spa, public health, case management and dialysis. Emphatic individual in search of an organization who cares for its employees and patients.
