About Ginger Imster

Ginger has 25 years of service in the nonprofit sector, including extensive fundraising experience, volunteer management, and board governance. She has developed a favorable reputation for managing public/private partnerships in the philanthropic community. She has spent most of her professional career in private institutions with a public purpose, with substantial commitments to DEIE internally and externally. Ginger continues to pursue professional development through the DEIE lens to be a better ally, leader, and community member. She has managed multi-million dollar comprehensive fundraising campaigns and is a past President of the St. Louis Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. In 2004, she became a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), the first globally-recognized credential for fundraising professionals. In 2022, Ginger became a court-appointed special advocate (CASA).
