Founder of Families Shoulder to Shoulder, an organization that practices Participatory Defense to help lower prison sentences in Washington State. Families Shoulder to Shoulder is a group of volunteers who have been impacted by the criminal justice system or who have worked in Restorative Justice. Organizer in Tacoma Washington for the WA Community Action Network, which is an organization that works on Mass Liberation issues surrounding incarcerated individuals and their families. Volunteer and instructor of Education and Restorative Justice Classes, working inside the prisons with inmates at Stafford Creek Correctional Center, Clallam Bay CC, Mission Creek Women's Prison Contributor to the Washington State Criminal Sentencing Task Force, helping to refine the Sentencing Reform Act and improve draconian sentencing grids that keep people incarcerated for unjust lengths of time.
