My Thought: We are living in a time of change that we have not fully grasped yet: the exchange of information between companies is becoming increasingly frenetic and complex, and digitalization is no longer a distinctive element or a sign of corporate efficiency but a matter of survival. Computers, their languages, and business collaboration aim to achieve significant results. After all, communication between information systems is not the exclusive domain of the ICT department but a binding force among all internal and external sectors/departments of the company to achieve omnichannel. The communication capabilities of software and knowledge management are indissolubly linked to the productivity of people and products. Many experiences in the automotive sector, food and non-food wholesalers, and the electrical industry have convinced me that the "digital process" generates a new operational dimension accompanied by great added value, values that remain hidden in manual business processes, management software, and "analog" habits. For example, the topic of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) has been relegated, since the growth of the Internet, to the definition of an underdeveloped and very expensive "object." Today we can say that EDI concepts on the Internet related to document management (from price lists to invoices) are an indispensable tool for BtoB to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Always convinced of these fundamentals, I follow technological advancements such as blockchain and artificial intelligence to present our customers with supply chain solutions that increase the added value of our ecosystem.
