About Giorgio Dalbano

Giorgio is an Italian exhibition designer based in Bologna. He has experience for several years in museum exhibition design, exhibition stand design, art installations and urban design. Leading several design team, he contribute to win some international competitions in France, Belgium and Italy. Motivated and enthusiast, formed as a scenographer by the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and Architect by the Architecture Faculty of Cesena (Bologna University), by some years he worked regularly with some design firms both in Italy and Belgium. Since the 2010 he worked more on cultural enhancement projects for Kascen team in Brussels, where he was member of some international work team, aiming to realize some temporary or permanent exhibitions. After four years spent in Brussels, since the 2012 he became senior designer in the young Belgian entreprise and member of the team occupied on the competitions in France, Italy and Belgium. With FabriKA, the affiliated entreprise committed on the realisation of scenotechnical and multimedial contents for Kascen, he leaded the technical office, producing execution drawings and detail studies. By the 2014 he is back in Bologna, for contribute with the Belgian team and in Italy, with the Studio Cervellati e Associati and Xilos GMBH / EUROFIERE GROUP. As member of both firms, he use regularly new technologies for an effective abroad work from Italy, with every other city. In particular with remote work sessions via Skype, Zoom, Teams, Dropbox and some monthly on site meetings with the client. Always searching for new professional horizons, since 2010 he worked on 3D historical reconstructions and concept design for sci-fi productions. Among his hobbies and passions we can quote long travels around the world, movies, photography, literature especially travel novels and poetry.
