About Giovanni Aquaro

Giovanni is a Partner within ERM with a focus on ESG and Sustainability in finance sector. He is also the account manager for a number of private equity and financial clients. Giovanni advised on sustainability and environmental matters on most of the primary M&A deals. Giovanni has an extensive experience in Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) due diligence, portfolio management and strategy. Through a strong problem-solving and client oriented approach, Giovanni is an effective leader, able to address the most demanding tasks and tight project schedules. Giovanni is actively involved in business development of the ESG related services and has developed an extensive knowledge of the sustainability consultancy market. He has more than twelve-year consulting experience, comprising ESG Due Diligence, EHS auditing, building contaminants assessment and environmental risk evaluation. He provided support to various corporates and funds in several business sectors such as oil & gas, waste treatment and management, power, manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and real estate. Giovanni has a PhD in Ecology (Biology).
