About Giovanni Bitelli

I started my career as a Financial Advisor in 1985, working as an Agent for a large financial company that eventually merged with Desjardin Financial. I qualified for the company’s Honors Club in 1987 and the prestigious President’s Club in 1989. In 1990 I was promoted Branch Manager for the Company’s Surrey operation and in 1994 to the Burnaby operation. During qualified for the MAIFAC Agency Builder and National Management Awards, and won the Company’s Top Agency recognition in 1996. In 1998, I was appointed to the Insurance Council of British Columbia where I served as a voting member from to 2007 and as Chairman during 2003-2004. In I accepted the position of Marketing manager for BC with Equitable Life of Canada, where I qualified for the Manager of the Year award in 2002 and 2003. I remained with Equitable until 2007, when I joined CF Canada Financial initially as General Manager and subsequently Executive Vice President. I have participated successfully in competitive sports, am a passionate alpinist and skier and enjoy many interests as well as being an accomplished. I am married to Sylvia and have a lovely daughter, Elena. My skills as a public speaker, trainer and coach allow me to provide invaluable support to Financial Advisors with whom I love to share my knowledge, success and experience.
