About Giovanni Casanova

Young Electronic Engineer with basic knowledge of FTTx technologies and standards, residential and business service architectures, performance monitoring and optimization also with Big Data platforms, video encoding and delivery, security and Cloud solutions, SD-WAN and SDN/NFV architectures. As my first experience, I worked for two years in Multimedia area (OTT TV, IPTV and WEB) and Digital Markets in Altran Italy (now Capgemini Engineering). Later on, I took part in Vodafone top-graduate Discover Program related to Fixed Access Network (Vodafone Italy). I’ve dealt with 3rd Parties technical analysis and design to assure the best customer experience for both business and residential users. I’ve supported Quality, Assurance and Operations departments in KPI definition and analysis also with Big Data platforms, allowing Trouble Tickets efficient solution and prevention. Afterward, I’ve been part of Service Chain platforms' team formed by Senior Engineers focused on design, study and development of solution/architecture for TIM Mobile Core Network platforms. Nowadays, I work as ICT Presales Business Engineer at TIM Enterprise, specializing in Top Private Strategic Clients.
