About Giovanni Cusumano

Hello, I'm Giovanni! I am an Architect specializing in Lighting Design, dealing with the design of light in all its aspects. After obtaining a first degree Master in "Lighting Design & LED Technology" at the Politecnico di Milano in 2018, I continued my experience by collaborating with various design studios, which allowed me to deal with complex design realities, both in Italy and internationally. international. I deal with lighting design following the projects from the briefing phase to the construction site phase, devising lighting solutions that are functional but also aesthetically relevant, carrying out simulations to better understand the contribution of light on the spaces in which I intervene. In my experience I have dealt with multiple types of environments, from museums to retail, from railway stations to temporary events, which provided me with a heterogeneous know-how and the ability to adapt the design approach appropriately to each individual project. Having often followed the projects for their entire duration, I was able to develop my logistics skills having to deal with end customers, suppliers, other designers and various figures who can intervene within a project.
