Background

About Giovanni Giacomello

Curiosity and open-mindedness drive my approach to both personal and professional growth. With a Joint Master’s Degree in Transformative Sustainability from Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano, focused on climate finance, renewable energy systems, and the economics of decarbonization, I have developed a strong foundation in the strategic and technical aspects of the energy transition. I am passionate about accelerating the shift to a net-zero economy by combining sustainability expertise with financial and operational analysis. My experience spans sustainability consulting, transition risk assessment, and project evaluation across industries including energy, manufacturing, and transportation. I am particularly interested in how capital allocation and infrastructure investment can unlock scalable climate solutions. Beyond work, I bring creativity and discipline honed through 11 years of opera singing, alongside a commitment to social impact through volunteering focused on inclusivity and accessibility.
