I am really passionate about science and I aim at contributing to human knowledge growth to improve people quality of life. I am very enthusiastic about new artificial intelligence algorithms that are changing the way in which we interact with computers. My main activities involve the study and development of spoken language processing algorithms using deep learning tools both in research and industrial contexts. In particular, in my PhD I focused on the use of visual information (e.g. face and lips) to improve robustness of speech systems in noisy enviroments. I also worked on several projects involving machine learning and natural language understanding during my internship in Expert System.
