About Giovanni Pellacani

During my career I had the chance to deep dive into many aspects of dermatological field, mainly in dermato-oncology, non invasive diagnosis, cutaneous physiopathology, skin bio-engineering for the evaluation of inflammatory diseases. I have a strong expertise In melanoma and pigmented skin lesions, their early identification by dermoscopy in combo with image analysis systems and automated diagnosis, and in vivo reflectance confocal microscopy. I had the chance to partecipate at several Italian and European educational and scientifically projects as both Principal Investigator or coordinator. I have published over 800 papers, including over 600 articles present in the “Science Citation Index” with an H-index = 50 (Scopus), 40 book chapters and over 500 abstracts in national and international congresses and conferences. I have a multicultural vision and strong relationship skills with a robust strategic and managerial approach.
