Spent a quarter of a century (1994-2019) in the financial markets by successfully adopting technology throughout this period to drive growth, transparency, and trust. From successfully adopting technology to developing technology - influencing people to make the best of it - that is a journey I always believed in strongly. So took the plunge to dedicatedly explore technologies and their applications that would play the most dominant role in shaping every sphere of life over the next quarter of this century - BLOCKCHAIN and AI. Since then, I have managed to leverage Blockchain technology for delivering solutions to diverse businesses viz. Digital Assets Exchanges, Fintech, Pharma, and Logistic companies. And the cycle of learning, progress, and delivery continues most excitingly.Earlier:Experience spanning the financial advisory, distribution, and intermediation services in the capital and commodity markets, alongside the experience of having worked in a Market Infrastructure Institution - a Stock Exchange. I have also managed Fund-based (NBFC) and Merchant banking activities, besides building organizations from the ground up with in-depth experience and knowledge in markets, business, operations, risk management, compliance, and technology operations.Have witnessed and participated through the significant phases of change and growth in the financial markets - my transition from being a trader on the floor of the DSE & BSE in the early 1990s to leading the operations of one of the first foreign broking venture in India, and then becoming a founding team member of one of the first online broking ventures in India.Made progress to a semi-entrepreneurial role with a management stake in a pan-India retail financial services group.Formally, the career began in 1994 with BLB Ltd, Delhi as a Proprietary Arbitrage Trader. 1997 onwards, served as an Institutional Sales Dealer and Operations Manager in DBS Capital Trust Securities, New Delhi & Mumbai. Between managed the broking operations at Indiainfoline (5paisa.com) Mumbai, at KARVY Hyderabad, including a brief association with Indiabulls New Delhi.
