With over five years of experience in the banking industry, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to deliver exceptional financial services to our customers and communities. As the Assistant Branch Manager at Island Savings, a division of First West Credit Union, I oversee the daily operations, sales, and service of the branch, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and quality. I also coach and mentor a team of talented and diverse financial advisors, who provide personalized and holistic advice to our members. Before joining Island Savings, I was a Financial Advisor and a Banking Center Leader at CIBC, where I developed and maintained long-term relationships with high-value clients, and managed a portfolio of over $50 million in assets. I also led and supported various initiatives and projects that improved customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty. I hold a BSC(Hons.) in Banking and Finance from the University of Mauritius, and I have successfully completed the Investment Funds in Canada and the Personal Financial Services Advice certifications from the Canadian Securities Institute. I have strong skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, and teamwork, and I am always eager to learn new technologies and tools that can enhance my performance and productivity.
