About Giselle Gin

Hello! I’m Giselle, a senior at UC Santa Barbara majoring in Psychological & Brain Sciences with a minor in Applied Psychology.I am a year-long undergraduate research assistant in a cognitive development lab, where I contribute to experimental design, data collection, and analysis. I conduct classroom observations at local preschools to study children’s learning and behavior, and I also work with young children in online studies examining how 3–6-year-olds learn new words from familiar individuals with positive caregiver connections. In addition, I work as a Behavior Interventionist, providing one-on-one support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. I implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans and track client progress under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.I plan to pursue graduate studies in clinical psychology, combining research and applied practice to positively impact children and families. I’m particularly interested in opportunities that bridge developmental research and clinical intervention.
