In my journey through Financial Engineering at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering, built upon a Computer Engineering background from Mumbai University, I have developed a deep fascination for quantitative finance and risk management. I’m particularly interested in how financial models, data, and market dynamics intersect to drive decision-making, and I enjoy the challenge of working through complex problems in trading and risk. At XP Investments, I worked on model validation for FX OTC derivatives, ensuring compliance with ISDA SIMM standards and managing market data within Orchestrade to construct interest rate curves for pricing cleared Interest Rate Swaps. Additionally, I collaborated with the Risk Management team on Value at Risk (VaR) analyses, honing my ability to assess financial risk, optimize pricing models, and work with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments. Beyond finance and technology, I am a licensed commercial pilot, a testament to my ability to thrive under pressure, assess risk with precision, and make structured decisions in real time. My leadership extends beyond technical expertise—I co-founded a student chapter to foster a collaborative learning environment, reinforcing my commitment to mentorship, teamwork, and community building. I am currently seeking a full-time role in quantitative finance, risk management, or trading, where I can leverage my technical skills and problem-solving mindset to tackle meaningful financial challenges and grow as a professional.
