About Giulia Balzi

I’m basically trying to do my best to give clients which, above all, are my first ideas providers something they can’t get by themselves, that is to say a completely original point of view and new tools to redesign their communication. I’m used to not to consider reality as it is but to analyze everything by new, any time. I’m not (only) a young manager, an hopeless dreamer and a stubborn counselor but, first of all, a concrete designer. Thus being concrete as reality and the way people interact with it are the key ingredients of my strategy. In trying to achieve your goals, you need to put the actors of a system and its environmental aspects on the same level in order to realize and visualize the actual complexity of your task. Both actors and system require specific skills to be studied but a wide overview of people, trends, contents, psychology, ergonomics design theory and communication models is required as well. I began to figure out what my job would be with the first internship at a product design agency based in Milan. Back then I was approaching my Industrial Design studies with a practical mindset but I realized right away that my place wouldn’t be behind a desk drawing furnishing. Several times, during workshops and University tutoring terms that I’ve attended, a strong attitude as design manager and production manager popped out among many activities I was involved with. Since that time I’ve kept studying and improving myself in order to get closer to someone who represents the ultimate design manager. I’m currently working both to consolidate the relationship with already-established clients and to reach a new custom area that is more relevant to my professional goals. Automation, Packaging, International health associations, Public Administration and Touristic industry are the main branches I’ve been worked in until now. Systems, usability design, contents and environmental analysis are the areas into which I’m keen on working.
