About Giulia Bel

I've always believed that the best way to know a place is to taste it. My academic work in Sustainable Destination Development and published research on terroir and signature dishes taught me how to dig beneath the surface and uncover a destination's true identity through its food. There's nothing I love more than exploring and writing about a local culinary scene from the ingredients that define a region to the signature dishes that tell its story. Right now, as a Marketing Intern at ALFA 3 s.r.o, I'm building a social media presence from the ground up, crafting marketing plans, and organizing events. I also have the exciting responsibility of conducting our CSR assessment and communicating our sustainability efforts. I'm building a strong skill set in content creation, copywriting, German-English translation, and using video and photo editing software. I'm excited to bring this blend of specialized knowledge and real-world marketing skills to a DMO or tourism board. My goal is to create authentic, sustainable campaigns that celebrate local flavors and connect with travelers in a meaningful way. I'll be in Visby starting in January 2026 and am eager to get to work.
