About Giulia Cartei

7-years of experience in the field of financial services working on projects related to Risk Management, Compliance and Wealth & Asset Management. In this role, I have developed strategy plans to make intermediaries’ processes compliant to financial regulation (MIFID II, IDD, Mifir, PRIIPs) and supported them both to create internal controls frameworks and to boost and speed-up their processes and services also through Artificial Intelligence techniques. Furthermore, working into Wealth Management practice, I have designed global advisory services from family-office to advisory service for mass and affluent, defing the value proposition and pricing (fee on top and fee only) of the service itself and implemented robo-Advisort services I am passioned about innovation and technology specially related to Fintech, Insurtech, Healthtech and MedTech and this has led me to have a deep knowledge of startup eco-system, innovation management processes (design thinking, lean startup) and to study new trends able to reshape financial markets such as Blockchain & crypto, Fintech and Insurtech applications. I am the founder of a Finedu blog with the goal to help people to bridge the gap in financial education and invest with a ready to go solution. I am the CSO of an early-stage HealthTech startup that aim to produce wearable device to monitor the health-status and make a whole health-check. Finally, during my career I have had also academic experiences as research assistant and in this role I published research papers and have been invited as speaker at international conference to present them
