About Giulia Cesarini
I'm an environmental biologist, currently works at IRSA-CNR (Verbania, Italy). My research field concerns global change. I conducted my PhD in Environmental Biology at Roma Tre University, Italy. I worked on biases of riverine plastic pollution with a multi-level approach, from the ecosystem to organism level. Specifically, I studied (I) transport of plastics in rivers,(II) riparian vegetation as trap for accumulation of MPs and additives in bivalves,(IV) teratogenic effects of NPs on organisms.
