About Giulia Ciliberto
I am an Associate Professor (EU Law) at the Universitas Mercatorum, Associate Editor of the ORIL - IHRL: UNTBs, and an Expert on International Protection and Human Rights, appointed by UNHCR (not affiliated). I obtained my Law Degree (2017) and my PhD (2021) at University of Napoli Federico II. I was postdoctoral research fellow in international law at CNR-IRISS, Napoli (2021), and research fellow in international law at the Law Department (2022-2023) and at the Department of Political and Social Science (2023-2024) of University of Cagliari. My current research interests include international protection of human rights, with a focus on socioeconomic rights in contexts of crisis, and international and EU migration law. In December 2023, I achieved the national scientific qualification as associate professor (International law). In February 2021, I passed the Italian Bar Exam.
