About Giulia Datola

Junior researcher (RTDa) in Appraisal and Valuation, at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DAStU) of the Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy). Involved in the National Research Centre for Agricultural Technologies (Agritech) from February 2023. PhD with honours in Urban and Regional Development with a thesis entitled “Toward resilient cities: assessing urban resilience performance using a System Dynamics Model-based approach” at the Politecnico di Torino (Turin, Italy) in May 2022. Visiting PhD student at the Technical University of Riga (Riga, Latvia). Master’s degree in architecture, Construction and Cities (LM-4) with honours from the Politecnico di Torino (Turin, Italy) in February 2017. Research areas: sustainability assessment of plans and projects, assessment of strategic scenarios for urban and territorial transformation and regeneration, urban resilience assessment, cultural heritage risk assessment, support for complex decision-making processes, integrated assessment models, economic assessment and multidimensional value assessment of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). Guest Editor of international scientific journals listed in the Web of Science and SCOPUS databases. Speaker and organiser of workshops and thematic sessions for national and international conferences. Member of the associations SIEV (Italian Society of Appraisal and Evaluation), and EURO – The association of European Operational Research Societies. Author of several articles published in national and international scientific journals indexed in the Web of Science and SCOPUS databases.
